Kiva.org : Life Changing Non-Profit Organization

Normally I write about hosting companies and e-books. Today I was watching TV and noticed this story about a woman in Africa who started her own business using a micro loan from someone thousands of miles away in San Francisco. This man found her story on Kiva.org, a non-profit organization that provides small loans to entrepreneurs in third world countries. A woman, who needed a couple hundred dollars, can now change the lives of others using her loan. Now she can offer jobs to people in Africa and experience a taste of the American Dream. I know this isn’t about online services and technology, but sometimes we just need to realize how good we have it. Please consider providing a loan to someone who needs it most. It’s just a little cash to you, but it’s a lifesaving tool to them.
